time for homemade marshmallows!

first time making marshmallows and the first batch was mixed by hand and turned into fancy vanilla jelly candy. the second batch was nearly perfect with a little peppermint oil. perfect with cinnamon and cardamom hot chocolate.

simple stew

made a big pot of beef stew over the weekend, delicious. browned beef, red wine, carrots, potatoes, tomatoes and love.
