lucky, lucky me.

oh, i absolutely adore charlie and lola and mosta days, i feel like lola, lucky me.

long walks on the beach...

= sore thighs. well, 6 mile trudging through loose sand. an excellent way to clear the head and ensure a perfect nights sleep.

underground farmers market

went a few days ago. it was amazing, full of small businesses with big dreams. my senses have been a little heightened so i could really smell everything and this helped me decide on what to bring home. i settled on the 3 citrus marmalade with bergamot!

change

still cleansing, still walking loads, and still feeling good.

burlesque in the east bay

my first burlesque show and it was amazing. old school style, fancy panties and sass. there where two performers that did a skit where one came out as chewbacca that stripped down to a princess leia costume trying to woo luke skywalker. it was nice to get all gussied up and i even wore acrylic nails with glow in the dark tips, my new fishnets and smokey eye.

snug

went on a long walk by the bay and found this cute little foot on the sidewalk. received a package from my mom with cozy house shoes and a super cuddly blanket, i used them back in the chilly midwest.

the bridge that crept into so many books of my youth

to and fro

still on the cleanse and inspired to hike to the bridge and up and over. these are the pics to the golden gate bridge and coming back.

origami tuesday

taking a break from long term projects and freeing up time for origami on our short day again. they love it and it challenges all of us. this week they went tiny.

more free art

met a friend after school for a coconut mani pedi in a part of the city that i am not in that often. stumbled upon this adorable stencil and it only further sent my daydreams of living abroad into overdrive. not sure if the sculpture is permanent but i love the use of supplies and otherwise desolate sad vacant lot.

city hike

by a friends house on the outskirts of the city. amazing views of the city and surrounding area, trekked through eucalyptus forests and found this rad little theater and a foot path maze. discovered this inspiring beautiful mural on the back of a school as we came back into civilization again.
