went to the alemany farmers market a little later in the day than usual showing up in time for late day sales so i came back home with about 20 pounds of produce including
3 winter squash $3
3 heads of lettuce $2
3 pounds of onions $1
2 bunches of basil $2
5 pounds of tomatoes $2
1 bunch of rainbow chard $2
3 pounds of apples $3
1 bunch beets $1.25
the fog rolled in early this morning and lingered for most of the day creating a cool stillness, perfect for roasting squash and apples for soup and steaming up the windows. yum
