mas colores, mas musica, mas salsa... so it was alex's birthday on thursday and we are still celebrating? he said he wanted to go to this club, the butterfly lounge at the pier, with a d.j. and good old school hip hop. alright, i was in an my roommates too. well surprise, it was salsa night and the men outnumbered the ladies and most of them where or at least claimed to be from spain or peru. thank goodness i have years of samba and a little salsa experience. i had a quick crash course, danced with about 12 guys, had two drinks spilled on me and my dress(eek), my feet had blisters, alex was annoyed, and somehow it was amazing and i was having the most fun i have had in weeks, and with the latin men and morgan. we laughed as hard as we danced and it was awesome. i am still a little buzzed as i write (almost 4)but we where shakin' it and lovin' it. alex and our ride left and we got a ride home with edmond and paul from belize after singing gun's in roses songs through the streets (yes they where popular in belize too). 'made plans for next week and spaghetti, answered our phones and now i need to sleep.
p.s. i love this lady in yellow. i started taking pictures after last call.
back to my hippy stuff as the russians say, also known as the farmers market in the morning when i wake up. they are off to go-cart racing? and i am looking for an all american boy after all the culture shock this past month.
