after a few "errands" jeevan (found a new headband), michael and i went for a long walk/sightseeing tour of the mission. we went to paxton gate and marveled at the wonders of science, rare plants, entomology (study of insects) needs, wants and desires, taxidermy, skeletons, and rocks. in between galleries and shopping we popped in for samosas and ice cream nibbles. oh we found the most delicious rose/geranium, chiku fruit(j says it is popular in , and cardamom ice creams at bombay and later lavender honey and strawberry/balsamic ice cream by dolores park. stopped into tartine for treats and then grabbed fancy pizza from delphinas to go, and beer at bi rite, for an afternoon picnic in the park. watched the clouds and fog cruise by as we stretched out to maximize the sun soakage. after the picnic we headed to the bart for ramen and music downtown. found a marc chagall gallery to revisit later. then said good bye to miss jeevan until i visit espana.
