dude

i moved into my room yesterday and still getting settled in. spending time with my two fabulous roommates. today i slept in and biked to the mission district to hang with some friends and get a cup of coffee (my legs are still tingling). once there i was told that i had taken one of the most challenging routes across the city. uh, huh, that explains why i spent most of the trip riding while standing up, partly because i am too stubborn to use the gears. what can i say, i like a challenge. 

luckily this is a bike city and i was quickly told about the "wiggle" a bike route that can easily get you across town (back home for me) via flat streets that meander through golden gate park. hooray, there are also plenty of helpful boys ready to assist with minor bike repairs. my bike is running a little smoother. 

spent the last part of the day learning about motorcycle repair, the new skate park, the fine art of record collecting and mission district grub. yes, we grabbed a slice at arinell pizza, rock on, any place that plays ac/dc is rad. 

i am in love with san francisco. the people and the fog. 

and yes, i will try to take some pictures soon, i am still adjusting to just using my fab fanny pack (tight squeeze for the camera and layers) instead of my old bike bag.
