finger lickin' good





we stopped in at four barrel for food recommendations and ended up going to ramblas, a tapas bar with local ingredients and a free drink with tapas purchase, i had strong and fruity sangria. we devoured (from the top) roasted beet, fennel, blood orange and mint salad. empanadillas and mussels. grilled vegetable (with green beans, potatoes, and artichoke hearts), 6 minute eggs, lambs tongue lettuce (nope never heard of it before either), and toasted capers. finished with...oh my goodness the most decadent and perfect churros (little fried morsels dredged in cinnamon and sugar) dipped in thick molten chocolate. just how i imagine them to be in spain.
